The varied needs of the Student Loans Company (SLC) are delivered by a variety of suppliers, ranging from the small local enterprise to the multi-national conglomerate. The choice of where to purchase is made on an assessment of what represents best value and will give the right support to the delivery of (SLC’s) services. This is usually done through a tendering process. Our tendering processes are based on promoting competition within the framework of rules for procurement as determined by EU and UK law.
